I believe in clean eating, whole foods and balanced meals. I love sharing my healthy food ideas, and nutrition tips! Health and well being start with what you eat and make in the kitchen!My goal is to make healthy food taste amazing!

I've tried numerous amounts of dieting, including but not limiting yo-yo dieting, the grapefruit diet, the cabbage soup diet, being vegetarian, vegan and cutting food groups out of my diet completely. None of which seemed to work long term for me. I would always end up over indulging in the things that I loved and missed. Healthy eating is not a short term commitment, it is a lifestyle change that has to be maintained consistently. I have a gluten intolerance and feel my best when eating mostly fruits, veggies and meat. I am much more focused, and I don't feel as bloated, which in turn leaves me feeling better and happier than ever! The things we consume have a direct effect on our health, and well being...This is why I choose to make healthy foods delicious.

I do have one naughty confession to make...I am a pastry chef and I eat dessert everyday...yup EVERYDAY! I have to do this for work and quality purposes. I am surrounded by delicious, and temptingly dangerous foods all day at work! Resisting them is my biggest challenge. My job has inspired me to continuously experiment with my favourite foods and make them healthy. The most important thing for me is eating whole foods that are made from scratch, and not chemical shit storms, that come from a package. I shop the circumference of the grocery store, and I try to avoid the middle aisles that contain processed foods. The majority of my diet is plant and protein based. I recommend eating what makes you feel your best and happiest. I look forward to sharing my healthy and delicious recipes with you!
